With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John F Floyd of Danville, Georgia, who passed away on October 19, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Floyd and Iduma Floyd; and his brothers, W. L. Floyd and Tom Floyd. He is survived by: his wife Sara Joyner Floyd of Cochran; his daughters, Teresa Floyd Dykes of Cochran, Barbara Floyd Darsey of Cochran, Debra Dennard (Stevie) of Cochran and Sharon Floyd of Cochran; and his brothers, Odell Floyd and Alton Floyd (Brenda). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the donor's charity of choice or Evergreen Baptist Church, 1126 GA-87 BUS, Cochran, GA 31014.
