She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Simmons and Mary Dykes Simmons; and her siblings, Carolyn Poole, Brenda Dennis and Danny Simmons.
She is survived by: her husband Hezykiah; her daughters, Sherri Crawford (David) and Tammy Pierce (Donald); and her grandsons, Zach Pierce, John Anthony Crawford and Eric Pierce. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church (3220 Cool Springs Rd, Danville, GA 31017). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
