It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Daniel Wood Jr. of Danville, Georgia, who passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wood and Pauline Wood. He is survived by: his wife Linda Crompton Wood of Bonaire; his children, Danielle McDonald (James) of Bogart, GA, Jamie Gillis (Emily) of East Wallingford, VT, Edward Wood of Williamsport, PA and James J. Wood; his stepson Garrett Anderson (Amy) of Eatonton, GA; and his siblings, Mike Wood (Joann), Steven Wood (Sally) and Anne Marie McGuinness (Terry). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one special great-grandchild.
