He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Loyd Payne; his stepson Andrew William Toler; his nieces, Wanda Knowles (Walker) and Nancy Rickerson (Robert); his nephew Rhett Spires (Kathy); his grandson Jared Arlo Toler; and his brother-in-law Gene Spires.
