He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Brenda Fortner (Jerrell) of Danielsville; his wife Marsha Avera of Ila; his children, Tanna Bond, Kailey Avera and Kadin Avera of Ila; his brothers, Robbie Christopher (Sandy) of Hull and Michael Christopher (Erica) of Commerce; his stepsiblings, Jay Fortner (Columbus) and Cindy Kelsey (Temple); and his father Scott Avera. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
