He is survived by: his wife Jean Payne Madden; his children, Bill Madden, Jr. (Elyse) of Lawrenceville, GA and Leandra Madden Nessel (Kent) of Athens, GA; his grandchildren, Claudia Madden, Julian Madden, Abigail Madden, Oliver Nessel and Cole Nessel; his siblings, George Frank Madden of Elberton, GA, Byron Madden (Linda) of Carrollton, GA, Russell Madden (Sheila) of Elberton, GA and Amy Segars of Dewy Rose, GA; and his sister-in-law Nancy Madden of Washington, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
