He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eugene and Ethel Agnes Freeman Flynn; his son T. J. Flynn; and his siblings, Talbert, Harley, Terry, Teddy, Smokey Flynn, June Black, Mae Huskey and Margaret Williams.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Joanna Willis and Tammy Arnold; and his sister Mary Ellen McAvoy. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
