He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnett Thomas McCurley and Kathleen Brooks McCurley; and his son John Thomas McCurley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bryant McCurley; his daughters, Lisa Hancock (David) of Colbert and Andrea Smoak (DeWayne) of Evans; his siblings, Robert McCurley, Nancy Autry, David McCurley and Martha Foster; his grandchildren, Devan Hancock, Connor Hancock (Tristan), Cade Hancock (Gabby), Avery Smoak and Lane Smoak; and his great grandchild Brooks Hancock.
