With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stella Mae Brogdon Lackey of Danielsville, Georgia, born in Cumming, Georgia, who passed away on November 24, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Lackey; her former husband Douglas Brogdon; her parents, J. B. Pruitt and Agnes Pruitt; and her brother Johnny Pruitt.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Brogdon of Milledgeville, GA, Lisa Roberson (William) of Franklin, NC, Patricia Brogdon of Chatsworth, GA, Robert Brogdon (Sarah) of Toccoa, GA, Matthew Brogdon of Danielsville and Amanda Patman (Durell) of Athens, GA; and her sister Laverne Grissom (Jeff) of Jefferson, GA. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
