He was predeceased by: his parents, James Benton and Olene "Jo" Adams Benton; and his grandson Samuel Gary Walker. He is survived by: his wife Carol Walker; his son Kevin Walker (Tammy); his granddaughter Lauren; his siblings, Gary Walker (Beth) and Kathy Connell (Tim); and his siblings-in-law, James Crittendon, Danny Chandler (Darlene) and Linda Chandler. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
