He is survived by: his wife Kathy Delores Sorrow Farmer of Danielsville; his children, Robin Coley of Danielsville, Linda Wood (Greg) of Danielsville, Ralph Farmer (Michelle) of Danielsville and Paul Farmer (Tressa) of Hull; his stepsons, Clayton Sexton of Danielsville, Brandon Sexton of Danielsville and Nathaniel Sexton of Danielsville; and his brothers, David Farmer of Locust Grove and Bill Farmer of Locust Grove. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
