He is survived by: his wife Glenda Spurlin; his children, Jamie Spurlin (Amy), Matt Spurlin, Jeffrey Nichols (Amanda) and Brandy Burroughs (Trey); his grandchildren, Colby Spurlin, Justin Spurlin, Cody Spurlin, Evan Spurlin, Karter Spurlin, Averi Burroughs and Leigh Nichols; his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Raelynn Spurlin; and his siblings, Betty Tucker (John), Eva Wooten, Mary Joines (Dennis), Ella Mae Finney (Danny), Kermit Wood (Louise) and Allen Wood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
