He was predeceased by: his father William F. Meixsel; his daughter Shelly Anne Meixsel of Superior; and his brother William R. McClure. He is survived by: his wife Lois Anne Dawson Meixsel; his sons, Perry (Rose) of Camden County, Georgia and Richard (Christine) of Charlottesville, Virginia; and his sister Patricia Jennings of Jefferson, Georgia. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
