She was predeceased by: her husband James Joel King; her parents, James Thurmond Bridges and Desma Inez Bryan Bridges; and her sibling Gennell Goodrum. She is survived by: her siblings, Sharion Stewart and Brenda Kay Bridges; her children, Melanie King Jones (Billy), Adam King (Joy) and Billy King (Leah); and her grandchildren, Caleb, Colby, Dusty (Havyn), Logan, Brayden, Annalee, Baylee and Asher.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church or Vineyard Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
