She was predeceased by: her parents, Brasco Green and Endie Barnett Green Peck; her husband Edward Paul Whitehead, Sr.; her son Roger Nathaniel Whitehead; her granddaughter Lisa Brookshire; and her siblings, Beatrice Varnum, Fred Holder and Harold Junior Holder.
She is survived by: her children, Shelia (Tony Osborne), Paula Joanne (Donald McKie), Harold Wayne Whitehead of Athens, GA, Paul Whitehead Jr. of Danielsville, GA, Missy (Ben Hatcher) and Billy Joe Whitehead (Cindy Whitehead) of Danielsville, GA.. She is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hill Haven Cemetery (490 Edmondson Rd, Monroe, GA 30656).
