He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Frances James; his sister Elizabeth James Hammond; his wife June Carol Dean James; his sons, Stanley James (Karen) of Danielsville, Stephen James of Danielsville and Barry James of Danielsville; his grandchildren, Mallory Cash (Drake), Bryson James (Elizabeth), Kala McCurley (Drew), Katie Sartain (Eli) and Kacie James (Elijah Vaughn); his great grandchildren, Carsen, Landon, Wyatt, Emersyn and Beckham; and his grandsons, Drake Cash, Drew McCurley, Eli Sartain, Elijah Vaughn and Carsen Stewart.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease research would be appreciated.
