He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Gloria Jean Appleby; his parents, Harold E. Appleby and Emma Helen Smith Appleby; and his sons, Harold Edward "Eddie" Appleby (Johnette), Russell D. Appleby, Alan W. Appleby (Liz) and Gary W. Appleby (Tina). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
