He is survived by: his wife Janet Beard (Kinney) of Danielsville; his mother Margie Nell Fitzpatrick (Dalton) of Danielsville; his son Matthew Beard of Royston; and his brothers, Brian Beard of Ila and Steve Fleeman of Jefferson.
In honor of his love for animals, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter.
