He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Summie and Minnie Dale Leachman Bowles. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Ervin of Homer, Steve Bowles, Jr. of Salem, AR and Nick Bowles of Azle, TX; and his siblings, Carson Bowles of Commerce, Donald Bowles of Danielsville, Peggy Hill of Homer, Dale Cowart of Jefferson, JoAnn Bowles of Jefferson and Deborah Bowles of Savannah. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
