She was predeceased by: her parents, James Crawford Whitsel, Sr. and Alice Franklin Whitsel; her former husband Ralph Thomas Allen; and her husband Fred Hawkins. She is survived by: her children, Rita Tiller (Wesley) and Steve Allen (Betty); her grandchildren, Thomas Tiller and Josh Allen (Kayla); and her great grandchild Riley Grace Allen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (963 GA-98, Danielsville, GA 30633). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Moons Grove Baptist Church (1985 Moons Grove Church Rd, Colbert, GA 30628).
