She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Sorrow; her daughters, Peggy Shumake and Shirley Murphy; her great grandchild Brittney Zak; and also Taylor Sorrow.

She is survived by: her parents, Will Thomas and Erma Lou Allen; her son William Sorrow; and her sister Marie Jenkins. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
