It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertie May Watson (Danielsville, Georgia), born in Maysville, Georgia, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Minor Davidson and Sybil Prickett Davidson; her husband James Watson; her son Edwin Watson; her son-in-law Gary Seymour; her granddaughter Ashley Watson; her great grandchild Autumn Jarrard; and her siblings, Gene Davidson, Bronson Davidson, Sarah Martin, Margaret Brown and Allie Dishman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Jarrard (Thurmond), Elaine Seymour, Robert Watson (Becki), Mark Watson (Rose Ann) and Stanley Watson (April). She is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren, Thirty two Great-grandchildren and one Great Great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (275 Friendship Church Rd, Danielsville, GA 30633). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Gideons International.
