She is survived by: her husband Horace McIlwain; her children, Thomas Elijah Davis, III (Carrie), Lisa Davis Golden (Larry) and Dottie Davis McLaughlin (Patrick); her stepchildren, Stephen Thomas McIlwain (Jackie), James Lewis McIlwain and Pam McIlwain Thompson (Jerald); and her brothers, Bobby Powell, Tommy Powell (Bonnie) and Seventeen. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
