We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2021, at the age of 71, Gloria Wimberly of Damascus, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Thompson and Vera Mae Thompson; her children, Fred Thompson, Jr., Willie Lee Thompson, Dock Thompson, Marvin Thompson, Eve Mae Thompson, El Nora Thompson and Carrie Ruth Thompson; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Lofton and A'braya Newsome.
She is survived by: her husband James Wimberly, Sr. of Damascus; her daughter Sandra Dee Bardge (William) of Albany; and her grandchildren, Mia Thompson, Martez Thompson (Tonya) of Albany, Catesha Wimberly and Tavious Lofton (Jessica) of Blakely. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
