She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Harold Burkhalter, Sr. and Nora Belle Ledbetter Burkhalter; her husband Don Alexander; her grandchildren, Baylee Crowe (Dakota) and Jacob Brown (Chelsea Morris); her great grandchildren, Ellie Crowe and Oaklyn Crowe; her stepchildren, Kathy Brown and Steve Alexander; and her nieces and nephews, Donna Lambert Lee, Debbie Lambert Bostwick, Kevin Derusha, Lee Derusha and Grant Burkhalter. She was also cherished by Six Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Earle Rainwater Funeral Home (10355 Commerce St, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the West Hill Cemetery (457 Pine St, Trion, GA 30753).
