He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Moore and Estelle Moore; his children, Kathy Pettijohn and James Verdon Moore, Jr.; his granddaughter April Maddox; his sons-in-law, Kenny Brown, Johnny Caldwell and Steve Caldwell; and his grandson-in-law Gregg Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Carr Moore; his daughters, Teresa Caldwell, Tammy Postelle (Tad) and Michon Brown; and his grandchildren, Amber Caldwell (Scott Ruttan), Matt Caldwell (Michelle), Jill Munguia, Tiffany Cooper, Beau Brown (Kinley) and McKinzie Price (Colin). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted or the family requests that donations be made to the Pleasant Grove Masonic Lodge #702 in Dalton.
