He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert R. Thompson and Eula Mae Thompson. He is survived by: his brother Dwight Thompson of Dalton. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Love Funeral Home (1402 N Thornton Ave, Dalton, GA 30720). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Love Funeral Home (1402 N Thornton Ave, Dalton, GA 30720).
In lieu of flowers, it was Mr. Thompson's wish that donations be made in his memory to Kinsey Drive Baptist Church.
