We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2025, at the age of 88, Tommy Albert Waters of Dalton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Waters and Bessie Payne Waters; his son Scott Waters; and his siblings, Jessie Waters, Lester Waters, Charlie Waters, Herbert Waters, Melvin Waters, Roy Waters, Annie Queen, Jean Harrison, Dorothy Lewis and Evon Rymer.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jean Waters of Dalton, GA; his sister Lorene Pless of Chatsworth, GA; his daughter-in-law Rita Waters of Cohutta, GA; and his grandson Clayton Waters of Cohutta, GA.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Copperhill Chapel (823 Ocoee St, Copperhill, TN 37317). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Travis Couch, 93 Couch Drive, McCaysville, GA 30555.
