It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Syble Hemphill of Dalton, Georgia, born in Chatsworth, Georgia, who passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herbert and Ida Mae Gordon Long; her husband Benjamin Robert Hemphill Jr.; her siblings, Katherine Frances Hill and Charlie Long; her granddaughters, Jennifer Rolen and Syble Srader; and her son-in-law Bill Greeson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robbie Greeson of Dalton, GA and Pamela (Dennis Srader); her grandchildren, Marty Srader, Nicholas Srader, Jay Osborne and Ben Greeson; her great grandchildren, Heaven, Katie, Megan and Nora; and her grandchild Kirsty. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
