She is survived by: her children, Mary Kendra Carter (Armah), William Austin, Jr. (Carol Brito) and Eric Curtis (Dee); her grandsons, Myles Austin Curtis and Desmond Austin-Brito; her siblings-in-law, James Howard Austin, Sr., Larry Austin (Jacqueline), Mary Ruth Austin and Alice Simpson; and her niece Shonda Simpson Tinson. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her church family.
