She is survived by: her son-in-law Wes; her husband Richard'Rick'Martin; her daughters, Jennifer Phinney (Wes) and Heather Burton (Billy); her grandchildren, Emeline Phinney, Margaret Phinney, Katherine Southerland (Bryce) and Sydney Holloway; her brother William Carlson (Pamela); and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Martin and Diane Frey.
In lieu of flowers, Sandy's family humbly asks that donations be made in her memory to either St. Mark's Episcopal Church (901 W Emery St, Dalton GA 30720) or to the Artistic Civic Theatre (907 Gaston St, Dalton GA 30720).
