She is survived by: her stepfather John Thomas Cosper; her husband Jerry Young; her children, Diana O'Neal (George), Tara Crawford (Tyrone), Katie Combast, Kenya Young and Lamar Young (Ayla) of Dalton, Georgia; her grandchildren, Rashad Ramsey, Princeton Smith, Sonya Smith, Latoya West, Briana Butler, Dezmond Smith, Sandra Smith, Tykeem Crawford, Thailand Young and Star Young; her great grandchildren, Antonio Mitchell, Elijah West, Jaevin Ramsey, Draco Ryan, Amir Harris, Malik Smith, Raelynn Helmes, Nevaeh West and Deklan Ryan; her sisters-in-law, Joan Ware and Marcella Bullard (Alexander); her brothers, Gary Cosper, David Cosper and Earl Cosper; her brothers-in-law, David Young (Laura) and Herman Ragland (Inez); her aunt Alice Houston; her nephews, Mitchell House (Edna), Phillip House and Tim House (Deirdre); her niece Ann House; and her close friend Carol Mooney. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives.
The lying in state was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel (2011 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Dalton, GA 30721). Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
