She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Hilley; her parents, Hoyt Beason and Irene Beason; and her siblings, Mary Jane Couillard, Willena Bramblett, Charles Beason, Malcomb Beason and Troy Beason.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen; her son-in-law Greg Summerlin of Dalton; her grandson Ryan Summerlin; her sister Carolyn; her brother-in-law Jerry Reddix; her brothers, Rev. Lamar (Wilma Beason) of Chatsworth and Rev. Johnny (Carol Beason) of Chatsworth; and her sister-in-law Lois Hilley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
