He was predeceased by: his parents, Tinny Hawkins and Julian Walston; and his siblings, Jack, Junior Lee Walston and Juanita Walston.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Ruth Walston; his children, Steven Hawkins (Melissa), Randy Walston (Cindy), Roy Jr. Walston (Tilly), Tony Walston (Lindia), Vickie Womack (Richard) and Tammy Bennett (Heath); and his siblings, Bobby, Tommy, Carl, Gary, Peggy, Connie, Kathy and Bonnie. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
