It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Louis Anderson of Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Anderson Sr. and Elsie Henson Anderson; his significant other Maudell Porter; his daughter Lisa Anderson; and his siblings, Ed Anderson Jr., Katherine Morgan, Mary Nell Wells and Jeannie Anderson.
He is survived by: his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Ann Anderson of Dalton, GA; his daughter Kay; his son-in-law Dewayne Whitmire of Rocky Face, GA; his grandchildren, Heather Tate, Blake Anderson (Meg), Kelly Whitmire and Brian Whitmire (Brandi); and his great grandchild Emma Anderson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
