He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ledford and Reba Ledford; his brothers-in-law, Ted Burch and Jimmy Hooker; his parents-in-law, Oscar and Bertha Hooker; and his nephew Rusty Hyde.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Hooker Garland Ledford; his daughters, Crystal Ledford Smith (Walter) of Cumming, Kimberly Garland Frye of Dalton and Jennifer Garland Hunt of Dalton; his sister Patricia; his brother-in-law Levoughn Durrence of Pooler, GA; his grandchildren, Matt, Christian Newman, Lexie, Austin Frye Cluck, Payton Russell and Parker Russell; and his great grandchildren, Keegan Hope, Kolton Hope and Karsyn Newman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
