He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sexton and Ruby Sexton; his siblings, James, John, Albert, Robert Sexton, Christine Underwood, Mary Nell Sexton, Bonnie Curtis, Frances Speer and Minnie Bell Sexton; and his grandson Raymond Aaron Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Sexton; his daughters, Traci Stafford and Paula Smith of Dalton, GA; his sister Louise Hines of Gadsden, AL; his grandchildren, Charity Kendrick, Andrew Stafford, Chasity Fox, Christopher Smith, Blake Southerland and Breanna Southerland; and his great grandchildren, Kaylynn, Ashlynn, Shelby, Miley, Zoey, Hunter, Chase and Wrenley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
