He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Poppy and Mommie Locke; his parents, Boyd Rogers and Marie Rogers; his siblings, Roy, George, John, Jim Rogers and Lavada Helton; and his son Alan Rogers.

He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond, Doug, Bunk Rogers, Shirley Fouts and Josie Faucette; his children, Duane Rogers (Martha), Marie Bridges (Dee) and Randy Rogers (Jennette Cox); his daughter-in-law Karen Rogers; his grandchildren, Jennifer Bonds (Jason), Jeremy Rogers (Heather), Terry Rogers (Gina), Mandy Osborne, Andrew Rogers, Ashley Rogers, Richard Rogers, Rodney Rogers and Emily Rogers; and his friend Leon Brindle. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
