She was predeceased by: her parents, Colquitt Wade and Mossie Lowery Wade; her husband Joe Leonard, Jr.; and her siblings, Myra Werrell, Lucy Gray, Charlie and Robert Wade.

She is survived by: her children, Janice Croy (Phillip), JoAnn Thomas (Mike) and James Leonard (Robin); her brother John Wade; her sister-in-law Virginia Davis; her grandchildren, Zana Cox (Justin) and Amber Garcia (Miguel); and her great grandchildren, Aaron, Ezequiel Garcia and Paislee Cox.

In lieu of flowers, Pearl's family humbly asks that donations be made to Amedisys Hospice Care of Dalton (1510 N Thornton Ave, Ste 200, Dalton, GA 30720).
