She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Shropshire and Gertrude Ryles Shropshire; her daughter Sheila S. Williams; her grandson Cantrell Shropshire; and her siblings, Tommy Lewis Shropshire, Imogene and Earnestine Shropshire.
She is survived by: her husband Jeff David Stamper; her daughters, Cynthia Martin and Hilda Copeland of Summerville, Georgia; her stepdaughters, Vickey Garrette and Karen Garrette; her sons, Charles E. Shropshire (Florentine) of Vine Grove and Reginald Stamper of Cedartown, Georgia; her grandchildren, William C. Martin, Jr., Chasity Fleming, Danyell Allen (Cacareya), Charles Shropshire, II (Destani) and Carlos Benton (Candace); and her sister Mattie Sue Farmer of Toledo, Ohio. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and her church family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Baptist Church (265 Oak Hill Rd, Lyerly, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
