She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Whaley and Nannie Patterson Whaley; her husbands, W. Donald Thomason and Jerome Bartenfeld; and her siblings, Edith Jones, Jeannie Burgess, Sue Wimpey and Tom Whaley.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry (Martha Thomason) and Terry (Denise Thomason); her grandsons, Brett (Laura Thomason), Charles (Julie Thomason), Michael (Megan Thomason) and Eric Thomason; and her great grandchildren, Maebelle Thomason and Kinsey Thomason. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Research Hospital or a favorite charity.
