It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Stamey of Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Smithey and Mary Long Smithey; her husband David Randall Stamey; her siblings, James, Frank, Bill, Ralph Smithey, Betty Pierce, Pearline Shaw, Mildred Lord, Jean Ault and Bernice Todd; her nephew Steve Smithey; and her close friend Larry Whitner.
She is survived by: her sons, Stan (Elisa Stamey) and Scott (Angie Stamey); her nieces and nephews, Belinda Smithey, Donna Spence, Mark Pierce, Ralph Smithey Jr., Kay and Ronnie Ownby; her close friends, Geneva Whitner and Joy Joyce; and her sister-in-law Ava Hurley.
