He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kost and Lorene Kost (Brenda S. Kost); his daughter Kathleen M. Burgoyne; and his brother Tom Kost. He is survived by: his daughter Pamela L.; his son-in-law Drew Hunter; his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Beth Kost of Dalton, GA; his sister Patricia Usnick of Virginia; his grandchildren, Danny Burgoyne, Michael C. Kost, Andrew J. Hunter, Amanda Leigh Hunter, Cheyenne Burgoyne, Quinalan Kost and Kaden Kost; and his great grandchildren, Karlee, Joseph, Madison, Noah and Skylar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ponders Funeral Home - Dalton (138 Melrose Dr, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
