He is survived by: his fiancé Debi Jackson Durham; his sons, Michael Bennett Jr. (Stephanie) and Jody Bennett (Michelle); the mother of his children Jane Bennett; his brother Jullian Bennett Jr. (Virginia Davis); his grandchildren, Ellijah Bennett, Ethan Bennett, Aaron Bennett, Gabriel Baggett, Haley Baggett, Eli Baggett, Paul Baggett, Elizabeth Bennett, Allyson Adams (Dustin) and Kyle Miles; his brother-in-law Jerry Hughes; his nieces, Emily Justice and Deonna Crider; and his nephew Julian Bennett III.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
