She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bearden and Lucille Bearden; her husband Reverend Paul Hughes; her daughter Paula Crider; her siblings, Howard Bearden, Janelle Spinks (Bryson) and Wanda Sue Mathis (Jimmy); and her parents-in-law, George Hughes (Patricia), Minnie Kate Hughes, Joann Richardson and Pratt Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Hughes (Mavis), Don Hughes (Karen) and Sharon Moody (Ron); her grandchildren, Javetta Lodge (Toby), Rocklan Hughes (Jeni), Delicia McGill (John), Jagade Hughes (Lisa), Jesslyn Hughes, Brant Hughes (Treanna), Judson Hughes (Danielle), Nathaniel Moody (Mikasta), Chastain Moody (Ashley), Kellie Pierce (Seth), Lindsay Ridley, Todd Kimble, Dillon Kimble (Mikayla) and Abigail Crider; her parents-in-law, Jesse W. Hughes (Jean), Francis Bearden and Marcia Hughes; and her nieces and nephews, Delane Mathis (Yvette), Renetta Smith (Johnny) and Mark Mathis (Maranza). She is also survived by great-grandchildren; six (6) great-great grandchildren.
