He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Brookshire and Lillian Brookshire; his siblings, Eloise Lewis, Billie Satterfield, Grace Cranmore and Archie Brookshire; his son Randy Brookshire; and his grandson Josh Clarkson.
He is survived by: his significant other Cindy Long Brookshire; his children, Celeste Thomason (Jerry), Chrissie Clarkson of Ormand Beach, FL., Nathan Brookshire and Ronnie Brookshire of Ormand Beach, FL.; his grandchildren, Brayden Thomason (Abby), Alexis Thomason, Marleigh Brookshire, Taber Brookshire, Brittany Brookshire (Jason) and Brandon Brookshire (Faith); his brother-in-law Doug Long (Barbara); and his caregivers, Denise, Shane, Kim, Tonya, Tabitha, Neil, Timothy and Lorrie. He is also survived by nieces ans nephews, cousins and 4 great grandchildren.
