He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Griffin and Dora Elizabeth Griffin; his sisters, Frances Hood, Gatha Lee Kopplow, Willie Mae Bullard and Dora Elizabeth Nelson; his former wife Carol Billingsley Griffin; and his granddaughter Alayna Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry (Karen Griffin), Steve (Karen Griffin) and Beth; his son-in-law Ross Erwin; his children, Michael (Cheryl Welch), Ray (Sarah Welch), Brian (Missy Welch), Renee Welch and Diane (Scott Cleary); his grandchildren, Jordan Griffin, Jennifer Palmer, Ethan, Kathryn Griffin, Dustin, Lashae', Christian, Clayton Welch and Shelby Mhoon; and his great grandchildren, Kennedi, Taedan, Tobias McClelland, Samuel, Lilli Griffin, Avenley Palmer and Eliza Welch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salem Baptist Church Missions.
