He is survived by: his children, Raymond Skidmore (Janice), Billy Skidmore (Martha), Randal Skidmore (Cortney), Wanda Shorter and Laura Hammontree (Donnie); and his siblings, Paul Junior Skidmore, Charlie Skidmore (Shirley), Robert Skidmore and Ruth Patterson. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
