She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Strother and Vernice Kinder Strother; her husband Howard Hancock; her son Mike Hancock; her siblings, Jerry Strother and Nancy Strother; and her grandson Michael Hancock Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Woods (Robert) and Sharon Merrell (John Shields); her siblings, Oscar Strother and Sharon Gatewood; and her grandchildren, Jimmey Lee Woods, Melissa Travis, Theresa Corvi, Guy Shields and Ashley Shields. She is also survived by Six great grandchildren.
