He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Marie Bigham Erwin; his grandparents, Reverend Ellard, Clara Bigham, Henry and Lucille Erwin; his daughter Crystal Erwin; his brothers, Richard Erwin, Henry Palmer and Raymond Palmer; his son John Thomas Erwin Jr. of Chatsworth, GA; his siblings, Luther Gene (Cheryl Erwin), Terry W. Erwin of Dalton, GA, Wanda Gail Garner (Mark) and Marie Erwin (Clarence Garrett); his grandchildren, Drew Erwin, Dylan Erwin, Riley Erwin and Christian Blackwell; and his great grandchildren, Kaden Erwin, Everleigh Erwin and Ansley Blackwell. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and his billiards family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ponders Funeral Home - Dalton (138 Melrose Dr, Dalton, GA 30721).
